Kyla Richey

Kyla Richey is a Canadian indoor volleyball player and Captain of Team Canada. She was born on June 20, 1989 in Langley, British Columbia. Her parents are named George and Jan Richey and her younger brothers are named Stuart and Conner Richey.

Kyla is a member of the Canada women's national volleyball team since she made the Senior A team in 2008. Prior to that, she was a part of the Junior National team for three years from 2015-2017. While playing on the court, she plays the position as outside hitter. Her career is one of the longest in Canada Women's Team history. Kyla competed at three consecutive World Championships. She was part of the Canadian national team at the 2010 World Championships in Japan, the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Italy, and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship.
